FYI:
To check the fit of your child's shoe you need to have the child stand up straight. Measure the length by turning your thumb sideways and feeling to see that there is about 1/2 to 1 thumbs length (about 1/2 inch) from the end of the longest toe to the end of the shoe; measure the width by feeling the sides of the foot for a little give in the material, or run your thumb across the toe box to make sure there is a little give. It is important to have some wiggle room in the toe box for growth and comfort.
